About the event

Understanding Sensory Processing and integration can be a complicated business.

In this morning's workshop, we will be exploring how everybody has different ways of integrating and understanding the world around them, what happens when this process becomes disorganised and possible triggers.

We will understand how behaviour is affected by sensory input and ways to help children cope and thrive in their learning environment.

There will be opportunities to reflect on a variety of scenarios and consider equipment or techniques to support a variety of sensory needs.

The aim of the workshop, is to enable practitioners to feel they can confidently create an environment which is ready to welcome children with a range of sensory needs, and discuss these approaches with practitioners and parents.

*NOTE* this workshop has been developed with the expert guidance of an Occupational Therapist, however the views expressed by participants and trainers are purely for guidance - children's specific needs always need to be discussed and supported with parent and professional support**
